  • New for old cover. For the contents in your home against loss or damage caused by fire, flood, storm, theft, escape of water and other similar causes.
  • Accidental breakage. Covers windows and sanitary ware and damage to drains, pipes, cables or underground pipes.
  • Trace and access. This covers cost of removing and replacing any part of the building to repair a household heating or water system that has caused an escape of water.
  • Accidental damage. To television, satellite, video, audio and computer equipment and breakage of mirrors, ceramic hobs or any glass in furniture such as glass tables or cabinets.
  • Worldwide cover available for personal belongings and money. Perfect for day-to-day life when you are travelling.
  • Full accidental cover option available. For example putting your foot through the ceiling, damaging a worktop, spilling red wine on the carpet or knocking over a vase.
  • Homecare services as an additonal benefit. Provided with either buildings or contents to cover for loss or damage to trees, shrubs, plants, hedges and lawns up to £1,000. (Available with certain insurers only).
  • Pedal cycle cover option available. For loss or damage to any pedal cycle belonging to your family.
  • Loss or damage to freezer food caused by a rise or fall in temperature.

Legal Expenses Cover

Should you become involved in any legal disputes impacting your home or its boundaries, this cover will help recover your losses . This cover is priced at just £33 per year.

Excess Protection

In the event of a claim triggering the payment of the excess applicable to your policy, this cover will prevent you from being out of pocket for that insurer excess. Excess protection cover for our home insurance customers is available from £32 to £42 per year depending upon the excess amount.

Home Emergency Cover

This cover provides peace of mind in the event of a household emergency. It covers emergency costs, failure of the main heating system, electricity and gas supply, damage to drains and plumbing, vermin infestation and much more.  Home emergency cover for our home insurance customers is available for £87 per year.
