Does my motorhome have a manufacturer’s warranty?

Most motorhomes have a 1, 2 or even 3 year manufacturer’s electrical and mechanical warranty. The three fixed appliances: heating, cooking & refrigeration unit are normally covered only by the manufacturers 12 month warranty. In addition to this, most motorhomes come with a 5 year and in some cases a 10 year body shell warranty, All warranties applicable from the original date of purchase. The warranty is dependent upon complying with the terms and conditions of the policy, particularly the regular annual servicing of the product. Should ownership of the motorhome change, such change(s) must be registered directly with the manufacturer within a very specific time-scale.
