With the amount of caravan and motorhome thefts it's not surprising that they are stolen to order. Locks, alarms, and immobilisers are good anti-theft deterrents, giving the thief less time, but they are no longer enough to prevent the theft of your motorhome or caravan. Should you caravan or motorhome be stolen, the Phantom Tracking Device vastly improves the chance of quickly recovering the vehicle and those irreplaceable valuables inside.

Using the Global Positioning Satellite system, the 24 hour Phantom Monitoring Centre can pinpoint the location of your stolen caravan or motorhome, enabling the police to make a speedy recovery and possibly catch the thieves. There are two types to choose from each having benefits which are advantageous to the owner.

The Phantom Target

It is hidden inside your caravan or motorhome so it is virtually undetectable. Once the theft of your caravan or motorhome is discovered one call to the dedicated 24 hour Phantom Monitoring Centre and they will alert the police. Phantom have a good working relationship with the police and recovery time is kept to a minimum by despatching the police closest to the vehicles position at that time.

There is no need to worry about your battery being drained either, the Phantom Tracking Device draws the minimum amount of power it can. Furthermore if thieves cut the mains power this will alert the control centre using the back up battery included.

The Phantom Pro-active

The Phantom Proactive device is able to communicate directly with the 24 hour Phantom Monitoring Centre and report on the status of the caravan or motorhome it is protecting. This ingenious device monitors the caravan's alarm system and, should the alarm trigger, sends a message to the 24 hour Phantom Monitoring Centre carrying the location of the caravan or motorhome. The 24 hour Phantom Monitoring Centre will then phone you and confirm whether the alarm has been triggered by thieves or yourself.

If no alarm is fitted to the vehicle you can still benefit from the rapidly communicating Pro-Active unit by having one of our tiny movement sensors fitted. This is hidden at the time of fitting the main unit and comes with a small switch. Thus you can switch the movement sensor on as you leave the vehicle and switch it off when you wish to move it yourself. The movement sensors' sensitivity can be adjusted to meet your own vehicle’s individual requirements and would normally be set to trigger on the movement of the vehicle itself rather than movement within the caravan, thus avoiding false alarm calls.
