Britains diversity keeps people interested in staycationing.
Families in Britain are continuing to head on staycations thanks to Britains diversity.
Touring caravan insurance customers are continuing to holiday in the UK thanks to the huge range of activities on offer that cater for everyone's needs - regardless of whether people are looking for a quiet break or an action-filled family vacation.
More people have started holidaying in the UK more often in the last couple of years, not only because it's a cheaper alternative but also because of the wide variety of events and activities the country has to offer.
Laura Smith of VisitEngland said such is the buzz of heading on holiday at home that Enjoy England has developed a new iPhone app which offers thousands of suggestions for days out or breaks in the country.
"England contains a huge amount of diversity - from buzzing cities to quaint, chocolate-box villages, from rolling hills to rugged coastline, and from ancient history to award-winning modern architecture," she added.
Allied with a warm start to October, the Camping and caravanning Club announced a 29 per cent increase in advance bookings on UK Club Sites earlier this month, proving more people are taking holidays at home.
