Be sure to check out the firework display on Burnhams seafront
1st November 2011
People are being encouraged to head to the firework display on Burnhams seafront this Sunday, which has been part-funded by a number of local caravan sites.
Static caravan insurance customers are being encouraged to head down to Burnham's seafront to enjoy a "spectacular" fireworks display, which has been part-funded by a number of different caravan parks in the areas.
Organisers are expecting big crowds on Sunday (November 6th) for the display, which will see hundreds of fireworks set off from the town's jetty - including a number of new bangers that have never been seen at the display before.
Skyburst Illuminations, the company running the event on behalf of the Town Council, said the display promises to be "breathtaking" for visitors.
Town clerk Eileen Shaw told Burnham-On-Sea: "This year's fireworks will begin at 19:30 GMT, which is later than previous years because of the tide."
A number of local businesses have helped fund the display, including Home Farm Caravan Park, Newcombe Caravan Park, Burnham-On-Sea Holiday Village, Highbridge Caravan Centre, Sandyglade Caravan Park, Unity Farm Holiday Centre and Dolphin Caravan Park.
Last month, owner of Suffolktouristguide.com Sarah Quinlan said the county has a number of bonfire and fireworks displays going around in the next few weeks.
