How to make a claim
If you need to make an insurance claim on your Shield Total Insurance policy, please let us know as soon as possible.

The following general claims advice applies to most types of insurance claim
- You must report to your insurer any loss, damage, incident or claim or any occurrence likely to give rise to a claim and of the institution of any proceedings being brought against you, as soon as reasonably possible.
- You must, in the event of theft or other malicious incident give immediate notice of loss to the Police (who usually will provide a report or reference number).
- You must send copies of every letter, writ or document to your insurer immediately upon receipt.
- You or any person claiming coverage must give all information and assistance to the insurer and not negotiate, pay, settle, admit or repudiate any claim without the insurer’s written consent.
