Just by the entrance door a cupboard houses the free-standing table, above is the controls for the Alde heating which also is fitted to the floor centre which apparently proves very efficient. To go through into the rear washroom a small handle which could do with being a better quality unit is fitted. The washroom is surprisingly roomy; a corner circular shower cubicle is placed in the offside corner, while a hand basin with deep cupboard is fitted below. A large window lets in a good amount of daylight and adds to ventilation. Next to the shower is the wardrobe, its not got much room so hanging space is limited. Thetford cassette electric flush loo is fitted with a neat chest including two drawers and a cupboard. Other storage comes in the way of roof lockers too so overall the washroom comes with room and very good storage.

So a Vanmaster at less than 1500 kgs MTPLM has got to be good and a price tag that’s value for money in a tourer of this stature. The layout works well and the feel of the Darwin is typically Vanmaster. Well finished and a quality product with factory servicing and a lifetime warranty. I am sure its going to attract couples who want to keep there car yet want a Vanmaster badge in the rear view mirror. The Vanmaster is traditional and perhaps a tad dated, but then that’s the way Vanmaster owners like it. I would look at maybe freshening the interior up a little so attracting more buyers perhaps.
