Lunar Quasar 494 offers a well equipped side kitchen

For four people it is ideal, with comfortable seating, scatter cushions and arm rests. Lighting here is also taken care of with LED spots and corner roof locker lights. Good roof locker storage is provided and a CD/radio is fitted. Excellent full length access flaps mean you don’t have to lift the seat bases up to get to bedding, while a chest of drawers has an occasional slide out table. The free-standing table is stored in the kitchen unit.

Side kitchen is well equipped. Microwave may be set a little high for some users.

The side kitchen offers a good worktop (and storage) and is well equipped too. There’s a Thetford full oven with a dual fuel hob and spark ignition. A Thetford auto change over fridge 112-litres is fitted and a microwave has been added to. Roof locker storage is fine and for night use there is LED lighting. So there are no issues with the kitchen being short on illumination.

Wardrobe is in lounge. In standard "end washroom family tourers" it is in the washroom.

In this caravan layout the wardrobe is usually in the rear end washroom. However, Lunar’s designers have placed it in the main living area. Initially (for some), it may look a little in the way but once you have been in the Quasar 494 for awhile you won’t notice it. The base has the Truma heater which blows air into the lounge, washroom and the side single dinette. The wardrobe will offer enough hanging space for a family on a weekend, but for a week away owners may need to be selective in what they take.

The side single dinette has three roof lockers above, beneath twin spots and also a large side window. The dinette would seat adults, but the beds are really only suitable for children as the length is only 5ft 5in. A small roof locker neatly stows the side curtain away.
