Introducing the Bailey Unicorn Barcelona
It’s not 12 months since the launch of the Bailey Pegasus, the range that Bailey boasted would lead the way in caravan construction. Well it may have done in Bailey’s camp, but for the time being it’s business as usual with the rest of the UK’s touring caravan manufacturers. Bailey has not gone into the new Alu-Tech construction lightly; all the models such as the Bailey Pageant and the much-loved Bailey Rangers have all bit the Bristol dust to be replaced by new ranges.
Claims of big sales may be true from the Bailey team but ask about and do a little probing here and there you find all’s not quite as rosy as you may think. With Pegasus and the cheaper Bailey Olympus not quite hitting the right note with many existing Bailey owners, the company had to back up regarding quality and buyer appeal. After the stark feel of the Pegasus and Olympus, Bailey have hit back with an improved range, and here it is – the Bailey Unicorn.
The Unicorn was officially at dealers forecourts from the first of September, but we know that they crept onto some forecourts a week or so earlier. Sales so far have astounded Bailey with dealers I spoke to heaping praise on the Unicorn. So what’s changed and does it at least fulfill some Bailey owners’ aspirations?
