Stealth Concordia Tranquility - storage plus the room
Stealth have up-lifted an idea originally used by A.B.I in the limited edition Tycoon from 1981, also Cotswold Coachcraft a few years later did the same thing with their Windrush / Celeste models. You get the storage plus the room.
But Stealth has gone a step further and in the lower section beneath the two drawers they have added a pull out 32-litre cool box! A way of adding extra cols storage as we know most fridges are only just big enough for food stuffs so this extra cool area will be a bonus for most families. On the large window shelf is a central mains/tv/12-volt socket ideal for a TV to be positioned.
Lighting is well taken care of in the lounge with spot lights and ceiling corner down lighters.
Now what Stealth’s designers have done is simple but effective, that’s take the control panel, the Alde heating (yes this is standard kit) plus the JVC radio/CD player and centrally mounted these in their own locker over the front lounge-neat and clever. But traditionalist will miss conventional control panels by the doorway.
Roof lockers fully wrap-around and offer good storage as well as looking very stylish and continental in design. Making up the double bed (the Stealth Tranquillity doesn’t have front single bed option) is so easy with the pull-out section.
If you want a good kitchen area then the Tranquillity will not disappoint, its pretty well designed and again has the stylish furniture finish. A Dometic 110-litre fridge is fitted plus Thetford full oven with dual fuel hob, add to this the microwave oven and the kitchen user has a well appointed work place. Worktop is excellent too great for preparing family meals on and I am glad too that the sink/drainer unit in the Stealth Q58 caravan I tested last year has been replaced by a sink plus clip on drainer.
