Stealth Concordia Tranquility caravan 2012 model
After seeing the recently launched Stealth’s I have to admit at being impressed, the new Stealth Concordia caravan range is simply a world apart from the first generation models. I decided to take a closer look at the Stealth Tranquility the five berth model with fixed bunks and rear end child’s room.
The Stealth Concordia range has some good looks with the new front GRP moulded panel plus a full height rear unit too. GRP sides are also used and the front locker on the Concordia is large enough for most caravanners needs. Al-Ko chassis with AKS hitch and shock absorbers is the foundation of the Concordia. Alloy wheels are standard but no spare wheel is included or a main fairing cover either.
The big family model is on a single axle and the weight at 1580 kgs MTPLM is pretty good too. The Stealth Tranquillity comes with front dinette, side wardrobe with adjoining washroom with separate shower cubicle. Opposite is the side kitchen while the rear has a side dinette and two fixed bunk beds.
So does this new model work as a family model?
Start with the front end dinette, its couch like seating is extremely comfortable and feels more domestic than that normally found in a touring caravan. The light colour though could be a hazard with children’s drinks and food. Seating five here will be possible in comfort especially with the integral front chest of drawers.
