The Gobur - conclusion
The Gobur Carousel Clubman is a well finished folding caravan, the rich wood finish and panelled doors add more than an air of luxury feel to the interior. Quality fittings are used and the way these caravans are put together means no production lines and “knock ‘em out” methods employed. It would be easy enough to do off-the-peg cheaper builds, but buyers demand quality and that’s something that Gobur’s workforce is proud off. So sure, not cheap to buy, (you could have a pre-owned one) but due to them not being as easy to build as a conventional caravan this also affects the price tag. For its marketplace the Gobur offers so much space, quality, ease of use and longevity – it’s more than just a folding caravan.
Richard Moss and Stephen Potter work along with customers to produce a sound product. With their feedback the two business partners are both to be seen working the Gobur stand at the NEC shows. Good old fashioned service is the order of the day, making Gobur a popular choice amongst many. With a superb parts system and excellent accessory shop and showroom, plus a cracking forecourt, the company offers so much to its clientele.
Although Gobur’s folding caravan range is in the main two berths, the company do make a four berth layout in the standard range, but it’s mostly couples who go for the Gobur. We must not also forget to mention that Gobur has a very active Gobur Owners’ Club who organise various events in the year, another reason why Goburs have such a loyal following.
