Caravan and Motorhome Show, Manchester
The Caravan and Motorhome Show at Event City, Manchester, had its second airing at this new venue and although poor weather affected some sales, overall it was a successful show. With improved car parking, and organisation over last year's event the Manchester Show was better than ever.
As Shield caravan insurance customers will know, this Show basically kicks off the new season and is a good indicator of the year ahead. It covers tents, awnings, tourers, motorhomes and holiday and park homes

The Manchester Show was another success. Great interest was shown in such tourers as those from Eterniti Caravans.
Snow and cold weather didn't put the visitors off. Plenty of foot fall came through the doors. All the major UK brands were there, with imported models on show from motorhome manufacturers. Eterniti Caravans had one of their new UK extending touring caravan models placed at the Show entrance. The tourer section of the Show had several new caravan models on display, along with a large selection of caravan dealer specials. Kimberley Caravans were exhibiting its special edition Sprites and Coachmans, while Glossop Caravans had all its major specials from Elddis, Coachman and Swift on full display too.

The Bailey Pegasus GT65 was given its first airing at Manchester. The Opus folding camper also made its debut at Event City.
More specials also came from Lowdhams Leisureworld and Campbell Caravans with Lunar Cosmos and Lowdhams' Freestyles and Hi Line giving showgoers plenty of options in this market sector. It was at the Manchester Show that Bailey gave the new re-vamped Bailey Pegasus 3 GT65 its first public showing, on the Campbell's stand. Based on the Bailey Unicorn 2 touring caravan, the Pegasus seemed to go down well for its first public airing.
