CaSSOA Public Liability Insurance Cover
Back in 2007, in response to a growing demand for affordable Public Liability Insurance, Shield Total Insurance introduced an insurance product specifically tailored to meet the needs of members of the Caravan Storage Site Owners Association (CaSSOA).
This CaSSOA Public Liability Insurance covers the site owners’ legal liability in respect of an award of damages that may be given to a member of the public, because of an injury or damage to their property caused by the CaSSOA site owner or their business. (It also covers any related legal fees, costs and expenses).
The policy was designed in consultation with Ted Young (the CaSSOA Inspector) and is underwritten by AM Trust Europe (IGI Insurance) - the insurer originally responsible for setting up CaSSOA.
A number of the CaSSOA membership have taken the opportunity to purchase (and subsequently renew), this competitively priced insurance.
